Bob Dent, Treasurer

Bob, a Seattle native, joined SVP in 2000 to become involved in the King County community. His previous work as a CPA, software developer, business owner and community volunteer was centered in Snohomish County. He served two terms on the board of United Way of Snohomish County. In addition to being UWSC’s Chairman, he also acted as Interim President for nine months. He was a founding member of the Snohomish County Community Foundation. He was Chairman of the planning commission for the Town of Hunts Point before moving to Kirkland with his wife, Carole, and son, Alexander. Bob’s accounting experience has added value to finance committees at United Way, Seattle Yacht Club and The Overlake School. He has provided accounting advice to SVP grantees and participated in early SVP strategic planning.
