Patricia Daniels, Secretary

Patricia is Associate Dean of Science and Engineering at Seattle University. She received her B.S and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California at Berkeley, and has been on the faculty at both the University of Washington and Seattle University. Because Pat is strongly committed to diversity issues, she has worked to increase opportunities for underrepresented groups through her service as a program director at the National Science Foundation, and on the board of the Women in Engineering Programs and Advocates Network. She was Chair of the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Pat has served on SVP’s Diversity and Cultural Competency Committee, and the Portfolio Grant Committee. She lives in Montlake with her husband, Bill Kuhn.
