Rick Farmer

Rick is a retired manager of the Product Support Services Group at Microsoft Corporation. Prior to that, he worked at the University of Washington and served as an Officer in the U.S. Army. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Industrial Design (Carnegie Mellon) and Oceanography (Univ. of Washington) and a master’s in Business Administration (Univ. of Washington). As a partner in SVP, Rick has been a member of the K-12 Grant Committee, Chair of the Portfolio Grant Committee, member of the Advocacy and Policy Committee and worked on the Granting Policy Task Force. He lives with his wife, Sara, in Maple Valley.
