Ron Tanemura

Ron is a retired Partner and former Advisor Director for Goldman, Sachs & Co. He was also a Managing Director at both Salomon Brothers and Deutsche Bank. During his 20 years in banking he managed a variety of fixed income sales and trading businesses in London, New York and Tokyo, and is one of the architects of the Credit Derivatives market. Within SVP, Ron has been a member of the K-12 Grant Committee, Chair of the Partner Engagement Group and the Lead Partner working with Metrocenter YMCA. Ron also serves as a Director of Densho and a Trustee of the U.C. Berkeley Foundation. Ron received a B.A. in Computer Science from U.C. Berkeley and lives in Seattle with his wife, Tina Yamagiwa, and their children Alex and Anna.
