Susan graduated with a Masters in Public Administration from the Evans School of Public Affairs with a focus on nonprofit management. Locally, she has worked for the Downtown Emergency Service Center, Center for Career Alternatives, and City of Seattle’s Summer Youth Employment Program.

After spending a year and a half traveling the world and living in East Timor, Susan became passionate about global education. She volunteers her time to the Pacific Village Institute.

Susan lives in Ballard with her husband, Aaron. When she is not busy planning her next international adventure, you can find her running the trails of Discovery Park, skiing, rock-climbing or hiking in the Cascades with her two dogs.
