Partner Education

The SVP experience often starts with learning. Whether it is gaining more insight into philanthropic planning, the nonprofit sector or strategies for giving, SVP’s workshops, materials and online knowledge library help our Partners develop and engage in a giving experience based on their passions and learning goals.

Through a calendar of seminars and workshops, SVP’s Partner Education hopes to inspire and catalyze partners in their personal, family and community philanthropy. Sessions are designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of partners as community giving leaders, and help them make their own philanthropic plan. Partner education sessions are a great complement to hands-on work with SVP Investees.

Some examples of SVP Partner Education:

Issue-area seminar: What is Microcredit?
Family-focused presentation: Raising a philanthropic child in an affluent community
Effective volunteering workshop: Volunteering in a diverse world
Investing forum: Socially responsible investing
