At the Intersection of Education and Climate Change
"Leaders, in times that are tough, have to innovate and have to adapt."
It's easy to feel like progress is far out of reach, especially when times are tough; good news and small-scale successes can be easily forgotten. Continuous progress occurs when we take a hard look at our current state and our unique strengths, and work up from there. Steve Sundquist shares how he learned to innovate in order to better deal with the problems in the environment and education space in the Northwest region.
Steve Sundquist is a Climate Solutions Board Member and former Seattle Public Schools Board Member. He is involved in the environment space, particularly in the issue of climate change and trying to make the Northwest more wild. He has also been involved in education reform. Steve was one of our seven Ignite speakers at our Spring Meeting. You can also read Molly Boyajian's adaptation story here.
