'Adaptation in Scarce Times' was the theme of our latest Spring Meeting - held this past Tuesday at the Georgetown Ballroom - but our attendance represented anything but scarcity! Thanks to EVERYONE who came and continues to support SVP.

Here it is: our Spring Meeting by the numbers.

  • 204: Number of total attendees!
  • 7: Number of Ignite speakers who lit up the evening.
  • 5: Total minutes Ignite speakers had to enlighten the crowd.
  • 20: Number of slides for each Ignite speaker's deck.
  • 2: Number of Social Venture Kids high schoolers that introduced SVK's new grantees this year.
  • 1: Our sponsor - a big thanks again to The Seattle Foundation!
  • 2: Number of delicious, local caterers in attendance (Kaspar's and Veraci pizza).
  • 2: Number of videos shown throughout the program that featured two SVP Investees, Friends of the Children and Explorations in Math.
  • 35: Minutes for table discussions at each table, paired by an interest in either education or the environment.

Thank you all again for coming, and don't forget to check out and share videos from last Tuesday!
