SVP is Turning 15! See How We've Grown...

Posted by Willow Saranna Russell at Aug 29, 2012 01:10 PM |
15 years ago, during a summer much like this one, SVP began. An idea sparked by Paul Brainerd evolved into a network of Partners ready to take their giving beyond the checkbook. That single idea has inspired philanthropists all over the world, and as we kick off our 15th year, we thought it be fun to share a few of the ways we have grown.

15 years ago, during a summer much like this one, SVP began.

An idea sparked by Paul Brainerd (see his story) evolved into a network of Partners ready to make their first collective gifts. Those gifts were more than money.  Partners gave their time and talent to strengthen local nonprofits, embarking on a journey that would in turn transform them.

That single idea has inspired philanthropists all over the world, and as we kick off our 15th year, we thought it be fun to share a few of the ways we have grown…

SVP 15 Year Growth Table

That's 23x the number of philanthropists who are shaking up the way they give! And the momentum is building.  In the last year alone, our network has expanded to Austin, Chicago, San Francisco and Bangalore, India.

We can’t wait to see what the next 15 years have in store!

You can check out the whole network here, and meet Partners from around the world at our SVP Conference in Portland, November 8-10!
