K-12 Education Giving Priorities

SVP seeks to help students succeed in school by supporting nonprofit organizations working on the following types of programs or initiatives:

  • Professional development and training for teachers
  • Professional development and training for school leadership (principals, assistant principals, lead teachers, teacher mentors, etc.)
  • School-based social support for students
  • Systemic change, including whole-school reform and education policy
  • Parent or community involvement in schools
  • Academic enrichment for students

K-12 Education Grant Guidelines

SVP invites King County non-profit organizations to apply for the K-12 Education grant.  All letters of inquiry will be due in December, 2010
