Whether you’re an executive director, board chair or a board member who leads a committee, understanding the dynamics of group discussion, group decision making and facilitation techniques will dramatically improve your ability to have healthy group dialogue and reach educated and informed decisions.
From easy to follow flip charting techniques, to different ways to brainstorm and explore various options, to ways to bring a group to decision, this interactive workshop will arm attendees with techniques they can apply inside or outside the boardroom. This workshop received excellent reviews from partipants in the Winter 2012 session. This workshop will cover:
Trainer: Michael Godfrey, Principal/Owner at Organizational Alchemy, has over 20 years experience leading teams locally, nationally and internationally in both for-profit and non-profit organizations. He specializes in strategic human resources; leadership and management development; strategic planning; retreat facilitation; organizational change, design and assessments; and interim HR assignments. Additionally, Michael admits to being addicted to serving on non-profit boards.
