More about Thrive by Five Washington
Created in 2006, Thrive by Five Washington is the state’s nonprofit public‐private partnership for early learning. We mobilize the long‐term statewide commitment to early learning, so that families and caregivers have the information and support they need to help their children succeed in school and thrive in life.
Thrive has three strategic initiatives to accomplish its mission. All three strive to improve racial equity.
- Deepen parent and caregiver knowledge of child development
- Develop a home visiting system to serve at‐risk families
- Build and mobilize state and local partnerships
Thrive partners most closely with the Department of Early Learning and Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction to implement the work laid out in the state’s 10‐year Early Learning Plan.
