Want to explore effective ways to nurture happy, self-reliant, thoughtful and productive children amid the opportunities and challenges that come with affluence? Join other SVP parents for this rich discussion! Developed with the Family Service Group, and facilitated by SVP Partner, Kristen Bauer, this session will address specific topics like:
- An overview of critical development skills and stages of financial fluency for children
- Strategies for raising compassionate kids who volunteer with sensitivity, and donate thoughtfully
Our hope is that by engaging in this evening presentation and discussion, Partners will gain a meaningful connection with other families who share similar questions and concerns around parenting, gain confidence in approaching these issues in their families and learn practical tips and strategies they can start using right away.

More about the SVP Family Service Group
Launched in April 2007 by a small group of partners who want their children to experience giving back to the community through a variety of family-appropriate volunteer opportunities. The SVP Family Service Group develops family philanthropy by building community among partners and their children, engaging in family-centered service projects and providing opportunities to learn from experts and share best practices and resources with each other. To date, the SVP Family Service Group has engaged 160 partners and their families in 37 service projects benefiting local nonprofits, and hosted 7 educational sessions.
