In this session, rather than talk about our work with nonprofits, we thought we’d show you what it’s like. You’ll get to visit one of our Investees, Explorations in Math, learn about their impact first hand, and explore how SVP is supporting their work.
Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in a current volunteer project-in-action. We’ll take a capacity building project request of an Investee and “scope” it with your help, modeling some of the principles we learned about forming successful relationships during the previous session.
The 3-part Taste of SVP series mirrors some of the best parts of SVP’s relationships with our Investees, while offering Partners a chance to experience the impact SVP and our Investees are having in the community! In three short, but high value meetings, you will take a look at SVP's capacity building model in action, perform a site visit, and develop your own volunteer consulting skills.
