Rattlesnake Mountain Hike

Hike across one of our favorite stretches in the Greenway--Rattlesnake Mountain. Most hikers know the Ledges, but we'll explore the trail further and hike the 10.2-mile length of the mountain, which features incredible views out to the Snoqualmie Valley and Cascade Mountains. Stops along the way will be educational and fun, with a well-deserved BBQ at the end.

DETAILS

Arrive at Snoqualmie Point Park at 8:30am, shuttle departure at 9:00am
$25 per person

We'll meet at Snoqualmie Point Park (on the west end of Rattlesnake Mountain) in the morning and catch a shuttle up to Rattlesnake Lake (on the east side of the mountain). We'll hike up to the Rattlesnake Ledges, enjoy the view, and then continue to hike westward along the crest of the mountain. The trail from there has occasional climbs, but mostly just rolls up and down along the ridge, with several viewpoints out to the surrounding valley and mountains. We'll also have a variety of educational stops along the way to learn about local history and ecology. Once we arrive back at Snoqualmie Point Park (a total of 10.2 miles of hiking), we'll celebrate in true Greenway style--with a BBQ!
