On behalf of the citizens of Seattle, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Social Venture Partners 10th Anniversary Celebration. Social Venture Partners highlights the importance of service and how through cooperation, individuals can improve the lives of an entire region.
What began as an idea among some of the area’s prominent business leaders in 1997, Social Venture Partners has exponentially grown into a network of 420 accomplished individuals who combine financial contributions and professional skills to create positive social change in the Puget Sound and beyond. The result: Social Venture Partners levels its collective expertise and resources to partner with and strengthen promising non-profits for maximum community impact.
Social Venture Partners’ philanthropic success in the Seattle area has since inspired others to follow its lead. Today, with more than 20 affiliates worldwide, Social Venture Partners has helped to improve primary education, early childhood development, youth-enrichment programs and the environment across the United States and throughout the world.
Congratulations on 10 wonderful years of philanthropy, and many thanks to Social Venture Partners and the volunteers who have mad this celebration a success.
