With a focus on achieving the greatest results, SVP leverages donors’ time, expertise and resources for a greater impact than each Partner could have individually.

Building better philanthropists

We call our donors Partners. Partners grow their skills through extensive philanthropic education and hands-on engagement. By volunteering for the groups SVP supports, many Partners develop a deeper connection to the nonprofits they support and the entire community as well. As individual Partners are enriched, so are our SVP network and the broader King County community. Together we benefit from the commitment of leaders working together to advance the common good.

Advancing nonprofits

We give more than money. We build long-term strategic relationships with our Investees. With an eye to increasing the capacity of the nonprofit, we provide high-level volunteer or professional assistance, in addition to philanthropic dollars, to meet the distinct needs of each Investee.

Investing in community

Since 1997, Social Venture Partners Seattle has driven positive social change,

• Harnessing the energy, resources and passion of over 950 local Partners
• Expanding the capacity of over 46 King County nonprofit organizations
• Providing more than 25,000 hours of volunteer consulting
• Granting more than $10 million to advance promising nonprofits

Creating long-term change

The work of our Partners and Investees complement each other. We build stronger local nonprofits and improve the system in which they work. We provide ongoing opportunities to grow and educate a vibrant community of engaged philanthropic leaders. Together, we can create a broad, diverse network of people and organizations working for positive social change.
