SVP is proud of the work of our dozens of nonprofit Investees. Here are some highlights across the fields of our grantmaking.

Early Childhood Development

When Kindering Center wanted to increase its service for Russian and Spanish-speaking parents, as well as parents of children with special needs, SVP helped strengthen their infrastructure by facilitating staff retreats, developing an integrated database and creating web-based giving tools. 

Environment

SVP helped Climate Solutions update its strategic work plan and focus its brand to clarify its role among the growing list of groups trying to alleviate global warming. 

K-12 Education

Seattle MESA worked with SVP to create a four-year strategic plan for their new ninth-grade program in math, science and engineering, benefiting at-risk teens.

Out-of-School Time

SVP helped Rainier Scholars measure their program results and fine-tune their recruitment process to help them surpass their goals of placing students of color in public schools’ Advanced Learning programs.
