- Who: Have you been hearing the buzz about town on SVP? We would like to invite you to an evening reception for prospective members to learn more about what Social Venture Partners is and how you can become involved.
What: The agenda includes an overview of SVP and our work, how our Partners are involved and what they get out of SVP, and plenty of time for Q&A and to talk with current Partners. SVP offers opportunities to make financial and hands-on contributions to the community and you’ll get a great feel for that.
Social Venture Partners is a network of engaged donors that brings together nonprofits and philanthropists to learn from each other and build capacity for positive community impact. SVP welcomes Partners from diverse backgrounds who want to pool financial contributions and skills to provide more resources to nonprofits and produce greater results. Partners currently support programs in K-12, early childhood, out-of-school time and environment. We are now over 250 Partners, each contributing annually to fund and work with over 20 children's, education and environment organizations.
We look forward to seeing you there. Make sure and reserve your spot, as space is limited. Confirmation along with directions will be provided a few days before the event. [NOTE: If RSVP'ng after February 19, please contact Marlene Rapues for information and directions. She can be reached at info@svpseattle.org or at (206) 374-8757 ext. 25.]
