Christine and Eric Larsen moved from Chicago to Seattle in 1998 and still marvel at their good fortune to live in the Pacific Northwest where they enjoy skiing and sailing with their three children.
Christine has a Masters Degree in Germanic Studies, but she began her career in process consulting and facilitation at Accenture. While raising her children, she turned her attention to community activism and volunteering. Christine has served on the Board of Trustees for Bertschi School as well as on boards for smaller, local non-profits. From 2004-2007 she lead a neighborhood effort to renovate Dahl Playfield, a 15-acre Seattle Parks property in northeast Seattle.
Eric is a Managing Director at Blackrock in the Aladdin Products Group where he develops client management systems and alternative asset management tools. Prior to BlackRock, he was a partner at the Quellos Group. Eric is an active board member of the Information School at the University of Washington. Eric is an Illinois native, where he attended the University of Illinois for an electrical engineering degree and DePaul for an MBA in Finance.
In their spare time, the Larsens enjoy travelling with their children. Recently, they completed an 8-month journey from Seattle to Australia, through the South Pacific Islands, on their sailboat "Jenny P."
