Strengthening Boyer: Sample Capacity Building Projects
In partnership with SVP volunteers and paid consultants, Boyer Children's Clinic tackles projects like:
- Executive Coaching: When Boyer lost its Executive Director of 30 years to a tragic bicyling accident, Mike Stewart had to fill very large shoes at a time when demand for Boyer's services was rising quickly. With the support of SVP Partner and Executive Coach Mark Craemer, Mike lead the organtion through the tragedy and positioned Boyer for continued growth.
- Technology: SVP Partner, Kevin Phaup expanded Boyer's SharePoint site to increase staff efficiency and improve internal communications.
- Marketing and Design: SVP Partner, Randy Wootton helped Boyer develop key messaging and collateral materials to improve their external communications.
- Leadership Development: SVP covered the cost of Boyer's Executive and Development Directors' participation in facilitated peer learning groups focused on leadership development.
