WEC Logo PNGWashington Environmental Council (WEC) protects what Washingtonians care about — our land and water, fish and wildlife, and our special way of life. We engage the public and decision makers to improve and enforce protections for the health and well-being of our communities. Our work ensures that we will all enjoy natural areas, clean air and clean water for generations to come. SVP has supported WEC since 2008.

Total Giving: $185,000

Executive Director: Joan Crooks (LinkedIn)
SVP Lead Partner: Byron Bishop

Relationship Highlight: "It is very helpful to know that somebody is paying attention to whether the organization is taking care of itself. It brings it back because the immediate is always ‘what’s the emergency; what’s on the front page of the newspaper.’ I know that we wouldn’t be doing things as well if we didn’t have the connection with SVP." --  Joan Crooks, Executive Director
